How odd. I was out on one of my favorite blogs in the whole world that usually has nothing at all to do with skepticism or critical thinking and the wonderful, talented, brilliant Neil Gaiman has posted a blog entry about - what else? Skepticism!!!

This is an interesting story. Someone at TAM was talking about it - I think it was Eugenie Scott. She talked about how the very fact that it was in the stores was a problem because the book basically spoke to creationism. The Park Services say that it is kept in the 'inspirational' section but in fact, there are several bookstores that store it, some of which are too small to have an entire 'inspirational' section. So it just gets put in with all the real science books. Anyway, a book that promotes a religious point of view shouldn't be sold in a government store.
I wonder if we could get Neil to come to TAM next year...
