- Phil Plait, one of the smartest astronomers I know (oh yeah, I know lots), is way cool, lives in Denver, and does neat stuff like mentions Masala Skeptic in his blog. How awesome is that?
- A most excellent group of skeptics are taking the BarCamp concept one step further and creating SkeptiCamp - a sort of show-n-tell for skeptics in the Denver area. For those of you not familiar with the whole BarCamp concept, its been around for a few years now and is being fairly heavily used in the technology industry as a means to share knowledge. In fact, I saw an article the other day about how heavily Indians are using it to network in the growing tech industry there. So there's even a Masala angle here :)
- The Denver Broncos don't have ANYONE who was indicted for torturing and killing puppies. Let's all take a moment and hope that Michael Vick gets to spend a long, long time in a federal 'pound-me-in-the ass' prison.
- Oh, yeah, apparently there are some mountains.
Anyway, since it's pretty unlikely that I'll be moving to Denver any time soon, all of you who are in Denver should go check out the SkeptiCamp thing - it's happening in the next few weeks. And if you're not in Denver but want to create your own SkeptiCamp, the site has lots of information on how to get started. Check it out!
Ooh, also, some blog news - I'm working on getting an RSS feed set up on the site. I know, I know, welcome to the 21st century. Stay tuned - hopefully I can get it set up pretty soon.

The mountains are very nice. Members of our Denver Skeptics group hiked to a group of alpine lakes last Saturday.
You can always visit if moving isn't an option.
And thanks for the skepticamp plug!
It looks like this feed is working; I just added it to my reader.
